Well shooter paa ji I really applause your never say die attitude. You kept explaining and I kept evading , you again tried to explain with relevant instances and links. But I again dwindled by giving some irrelevant reply , but you again tried to prove your point . It's not that, it's my love of history and fascination with the Chola Empire, and how it spread all over South and South East Asia. I guess I've been watching too many old Sivaji movies...

Timmy, I'm actually not much into cigars... I do smoke cigarettes, but am on my way to dumping them for good! AND since everyone (except for Naga) seem to be using this thread to talk about their own avatars, in stead of using this (hvj1 given) opportunity to pull their fellow members legs - I may as well jump in and give the logic for mine:

(a) I really admire the old time aviators (maybe because I have a very real fear of heights which seems to only increase with age) and
(b) I'd hoped that the picture & tagline would help towards reminding members to bring their sense of humour along while interacting with others online

That said, over the years I've had a few different avatars here... but explaining each in a single post is simply out of the question!

Still really looking forward to reading various member's humorous repartee on this thread... I mean that's what it was started for - right? So besides explaining your own avatar's, don't forget to take a good natured dig at your friends...

The two I'd missed last time around:
