Sudesh,
Beautiful looking gun. It's a drilling-(Drei means three in German).Commonly used in continental Western Europe. An appropriate gun for opportunistic shooting of feathers or fur.
Any details on the make and date of manufacture?
I really doubt if you can get ammo for the rifle though.
Congratulations. The joy of owning a well made and very interesting gun.Enjoy shooting it.
Best-
Vikram

Sudesh: Are you sure it has 2 3/4" chambers? I would expect the chambers to be 2 1/2"/65mm. If it's marked "70" on the barrel flats, you do have 2 3/4'/70 mm chambers. Nice find!
Sangram, MoA: The top lever switches the right hammer to the rifle barrel.

No it would count as a 12 bore gun. Like Vikram correctly mentioned the ammo.(for the rifle) will be difficult to get.

Nice find, congratulations Sudesh!

Did you get any ammo (for the rifle) with it? Or at maybe some empty brass?
Cheers!

Jeff Cooper advocated four basic rules of gun safety:
1) All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
2) Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3) Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target.
4) Identify your target, and what is behind it.

Congratulations Sudesh,
That's a lovely drilling , how does she shoot ?
Has this firearm been endorsed on your license as a DBBL 12 bore or something else ? In my neck of woods there is a problem getting the combo s and the drillings endorsed authentically on the license . Somehow the endorsing authority / babu jees have no concept regarding a multi-barreled firearm which is a combination of a shotgun and a rifle .
