Translated from German by Bill Murray. 208 pages of large format soft cover with copious illustrations. Just released this year, covers all positions and features many of the world's top rifle shooters. It costs around $ 65.00

You could shop it online here...

I think Abhinav Bindra is selling it via his website. I imagine you need to email the id there to arrange a copy.

It was also being sold by infinibeam (infibeam?), but is now registered as out of stock.

Interesting book, lots of pictures more than words, which suits me fine

I mailed and then called up AB's office for it. Spoke to a lady, gave her all the details and have not heard from her since.

I need to remind myself that I live in an "apply, apply, till I get reply, country" I need the book so I need to take pains to get it.

Try buying from the publishers directly.

Got my copy today from Abhinav Futuristics Limited.

Took seven days to reach Mombai. Came in very well packed. Hats off to the staff.

Just thumbed through it and I say GO FOR IT

Tad expensive though. A British shop had it for GBP38 but would not ship to India so spent 4240/-

I'll try and do a review later if I can.

38£? The price must have shot up in the last few months, since I got mine cheaper a while ago

I have never seen any other edition so cannot comment if there are any additions or subtractions even.

This exercise was need driven. If I may say so, it was my impatience that paid off. The lady in AFL and the courier guy will never forget my name, ever.

In case someone is looking for a cheaper alternative to a basic text on rifle shooting.

Rifle-Steps to Success by Launi Meili

is available in e-book form from Human Kinetics.

http://www.humankinetics.com/products/a ... ss-4093625

Its priced at US $18/-

These two books are the only ones available freely and widely on air-rifle shooting.

Finally got my book delivered from Delhi. I have to tell you all (novice & pros) that this book is amazing. 221 pages of solid technical information on all aspects of shooting comparing several styles by Medal winners and describing each style.

It covers all the 3 position in detail. Its not easy to digest the book in whole at once....may be a few (3-5) pages per day.
Money well spent into learning correct shooting methods and knowing why each position is correct.

Manohar books in Delhi has a few more copies left.
