Used them to replace the standard sights on my National Cadet CO2 air-rifle (.177 cal) in the late 80's I think it was... they made a real mess of it... even a local blacksmith would have done a cleaner job :P

However, many shooters seem to use them for repairs etc. and they seem to enjoy a decent reputation. My sole experience was not very good though...

And somebody told me that "They are one of the best stock makers in North" won't count on them though :)

In the 60's and till the Mid to late 70's, the old man who ran the place was a decent though uneducated/practical Gunsmith. Used to make 30/36 round magazines for .30 carbines, functioned ok in our carbine. He eventually lost most of his sight to cataracts. The sons then took over. I checked them out once on a visit to India in 1986, to get a scope installed, was not impressed at all with their know-how.

They also made Air-Rifles by the name "Savage", checked them out too, poor quality in 1982.

I hope this is the same place, right behind a "Singh Gun" house and another dealer called "Mohan Lal Mehra & Sons" in the early 80's.
