Interesting post jonahpach.
You sure love Big Cats. I have seen that beautiful snap of yours with the clouded leopard.
These Cheetahs surely had their tummys full. That's why they decided to play with the Impala instead.
Unlike Humans , most carnivores hunt only when they are hungry (exceptions are surely there).
The Cheetah is in fact the only Cat (amongst the Big Cats) which can not retract it's claws like the others.
These claws (which are more Dog like) help the Cheetah (the fastest land mammal) to get better grip (like the spikes of an athlete) when chasing his prey.

I have seen those pictures and they are very touching.May be a little jarring to our set notions about animal nature.But, pleasant nevertheless.
