IFG rifle club : proposing to start our rifle club

Also why dont we look at setting up a Air rifle club initially and then move to fire arms that way things would be much easier i feel.

Thats what even i feel would be better. Step by step we can watch ourself grow and in the process, we will surely learn a lot and gain all unexpected knowledge. This will only make things easier for us in setting up fire arm range/club in future. Better to test with a finger first than the hand itself! what say?
So my suggestion: Air rifle range/club first!

Hey guys i am seriously so so confused what should we name the club. Suggest something beginning with 'K'. Ok i am not the ekta kapoor types but just have this myth in mind.

Well here goes a Competition ! The guy who suggest a name for the club will get a special discount on the membership.

Well I am planning of making a visit to pune sometime this month so that i could have a look at the facilities and also see how soon we could proceed with the work.

I want things to be done latest by August. At least by then we should have all the formalities completed and the club open to memberships.

I don't see too much of action on this post what happened guys U don't want a club which will be by you for you kinds.

I am doing this only for the members of the forum. I want each and everyone to make a contribution and prove a point to all those people who think we cant do anything other than talking.

I am really impressed with all the efforts you are doing, you could have taken up the IFG name itself.

on K name thing - I guess Kay (from Kay Sera Sera ) Precision shooting would be hip in karnataka .As long as someone else hasn't taken it .

Nice Suggestions but I am looking at something more appealing so that people can have it easily on the memory and each to remember.

hwbout Kernel Rifle Association .. Kernel means the central/core part.
its in vocal synch with Rifle ... the pronunciation I mean .. Kernel Rifle ..

Hmmmmm impressed by the suggestions i am going to sit down soon and finalize the name sometime this week.

Well to proceed further had a word with the commissioner of police he is interested in setting up the range for civilian practice.

Well this is what I plan of. Initially we make use of their range to show as a firing range and also the place to practice. After than once we have the kind of money we require which (shall be raised through memberships and sponsorships) we will build our own facilities which shall be in no time.

So guys need your contribution. Counting on you guys.
