NOBODY can understand the working and the logic behind govt. decisions
DARWIN said " survival of the fittest "
I say " survival of the armed ones "

As per the new order, the All India Validity is to be RENEWED every three years, at which time you will have to justify your entire case for the NEED for All India Validity - therefore it is safe to make the statement that (barring contacts in high places) everyone's All India licenses will be reduced to District/ Sate/ Tri State etc. at the time of renewal.

Since the new process for acquiring an All India Validity endorsement closely follows the current system for issuance of a Prohibited Bore license, maybe contacts in high places may also not be enough...

Cheers!

MY OPINION!
THE MAIN AGENDAOF CONGRESS PARTY SINCE INDEPENDENCE HAS BEEN TO DEPRIVE THE PEOPLE OF THE BASIC LAWS AND RIGHTS THAT HOLD THE DEMOCRATIC THREAD OF ANY NATION:CONGRESS IS STILLTHE SINGLE LARGEST PARTY AND TO MY BELIEF THIS PARTY HAS BEEN IN POWER FOR MORE THAN ANYBODY ELSE SO THEY ALONE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT ALL IS HAPPENING IN THE COUNTRY TODAY!!

OUR LAWS/ACTS ARE NOT APPLICABLE AT ALL TO OUR INDIAN COMMUNITY, AS THESE HAVE NOT BEEN FRAMED ON THE BASIS OF OUR CULTURE. WHICH WAS PREVELANT DURING OR AFTER INDEPENDENCE,THESE ARE COPIED FROM OTHER NATIONALS ACTS OF WHICH NOT EVEN ONE PERCENT OF SIMILARITY IS THERE IN THE WAY OF LIVING ,BEHAVIOUR,SOCIAL RITUALS,CUSTOMS TRADITIONS ETC!OF INDIAN COMMUNITY,THESE HAVE MERELY BEEN PUT ON OUR HEADS BY SURPRISE OR WE CAN SAY IN SIMPLE LANGUAGE THAT:
ITS A SHAME THAT LEADERS AND LAWMAKERS IN INDIA AT THE TIME OF INDEPENDENCE WERE NOT CAPABLE OF COMING UP WITH EVEN ONE ACT BASED ON INDIAN SOCIETY.AND WORST OF ALL! SAME PEOPLE AFTER 60 YEARS ARE AT THE SAME PLATFORM TODAY !!!.
ITS NOT ONLY THAT THE LEADERS ALONE ARE WRONG ,BUT INFACT ALL OF US ARE ALSO TO BE BLAMED WE ALL ARE RESPONSIBLE IN ONE WAY OR THE OTHER,I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW CAN WE ALLOW SOMEONE TO FRAME A LAW OR POLICY ACCORDING TO WHAT ONE BELIEVES RIGHT FOR THE SOCIETY.
ONEIS NOT THE SOCIETY BUT A SMALL PART OF IT AND IN PRESENT SCENARIO OF THIS GOVT. IS A MINIORITY GOVERNMENT ONLY 22% PEOPLE VOTED FOR IT !
SO FOLKS IT IS TIME THAT WE SHOULD GET TOGETHER AND DO SOMETHING TO CHUCK THESE ROTTEN S-O B'S OUT OF OUR POLITICAL SYSTEM BEFORE THEY MAKE ALL OF US SLAVES TO THEIR POLICIES FOREVER .
IFTHIS TIME WE DONT DO ANYTHING WE CANNOT EVER BE FREE!!
AND WE WILL HAVE TOUGH TIME PROTECTING OURSELVES FROM THE GOONS!!! :!:

have the funny babus incorporated the concept of issue of a NOC so that one can carry his firearm in another state-or does it mean that you are now confined to your state only.but then how does it offer protection to someone travelling to another state when he cant carry his firearm.i think our national level shooters who have some clout should take up this case in the parliament or whenever they meet some neta.I HAVE A GRAVE FEELING THAT SOON THESE IDIOTS(BABUS/NETAS) WILL MAKE AN AIRGUN MADATORY WITH A LICENCE AND THAT IS WHERE ALL THE TAMASHA WILL START

Why do we keep on saying that some one else will do all the running around but not we.Why not go and meet the local MLA and convey your opposition?

BTW the process of converting AIV to three adjoining states, has already started.

Since you have cooled down now, how about re-writing it?? :)

Jeff Cooper advocated four basic rules of gun safety:
1) All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
2) Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3) Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target.
4) Identify your target, and what is behind it.
