40 s&w vs 45 acp or something else?

Does anyone know the price of 40 s&w and 45 acp in India? From what i hear 40 s&w is really hard to find unlike 45 acp but i don't know the price of either. And which one do you prefer? (or do you prefer something else)

.45 acp is for Rs. 200 to 250.
40 S&W really hard to get. Price should be around Rs. 1200 each.
What one prefer doesn't matter, what matters is what one can afford because ban on import has made gun prices insane in India.

Around Rs. 250 each. Actually import has not come from last one and half years so price has gone up now.

Good grief! Can you imagine a couple of magazines worth cartridges would cost as much as the pistol itself costs in the US!
