Sound of 24 gram trap loads of 3 Dram Eq. modern powder goes as high as 180 to 200 Db.
But most earmuffs from good manufacturers seem to meet the case.
My personal preference is the smaller plug type, from Beretta and it does the job fine. With the regular headphone type ear muffs i seem to hit the butt many times when shouldering the gun in Sporting clays or skeet. For trap they are fine for I shoot trap with a pre mount.

Shahid is there something special in it?
I am talking about the yellow one used in national/international events.

The yellow ones are quite common and cheap costing a few cents each, this one is packed in a Holland & Holland paper pouch, hence the premium price.
People actually like to recieve these as a gift and sport it in their Gun Cases.

These ordinary type ear plugs are sold in most hardware or sporting goods shops.

Single use ones are cotton fibre / polyurethrine foam.
However the plastic / rubber ones can be retained for a long time of use.
