Ownership of a .22" IOF revolver.

Post by T T » Sun May 23, 2010 10:27 pm

Hello everybody, I am new in this field.

Tell me, an arms license is issued for how long validity period? After that, it is renewed for how long term? What penalty I have to face if I do not renew license in time?

What is the cost of acquiring and renewing the license (I may have to hire a lawyer to get through)? There may be annual fees also.

As while driving, it is compulsory to keep driving license, similarly is it compulsory to keep the arms license in my pocket while going out with my revolver?

What will happen if my revolver is stolen? I may be harassed by police and license canceled.

I have heard that before elections all licensed weapons have to be deposited in local police stations. It is tedious.
