Not feeling lonely any more -

Post by grewal » Wed May 12, 2010 12:11 pm

Till a few weeks ago I was the only one with a distinction on this forum. I felt lonely with being the only person who got this distinction. Felt a bit sad , But today this forum took me by a surprise. I found out that now there are many more like me brandishing there prized possessions . You people must be wondering that what is this prized possession.

Well this the yellow card that few of the privileged members have on this forum. :D This is like having Dinners Club exclusive membership. I know you fellow mates are feeling deprived of this privilege status . But dont loose hope , one day you also might get this . So be positive .

And to my fellow club mates welcome aboard.

Prabhdeep Singh Grewal

Dear Grewal,
My friend, since that yellow card will be switched off automaticaly in three months time, it also gives one time to reflect. Any society which we wish to keep has its own rules which need to be followed. I do not know, why you have been suspended and you have my genuine sympathy for the same, I assume your fiery personality may have expressed itself through comments which cut across such rules. I too have tempered myself regarding my objections about pro hunting posts and found other suitable avenues to divert my attention. With your passion and interest, I am sure that you too will do so. Because it will be a loss to all of us here if we lose you, since we may miss all the good points and views on different subjects that you may have to offer.
So give it a thought my friend and hope that you are not offended by what I have said.
Best Regards and looking forward to see that yellow card changed to eminent IFGian.

All passionate people have a fiery personality.
I am very glad that you understand that.
Most people mistake this for everything else that is negative. Anger, childishness, immaturity and what not....
Glad to know you and be in your company.

As an example of overcoming adversity, Karoly Takacs has few peers. He was part of Hungary’s world champion pistol-shooting team in 1938, when an army grenade exploded, crippling his right hand. Ten years later, having taught himself to shoot with his left, he won two gold medals in the rapid-fire class.

How about a "Yellow Card Club".Admission shall be by invitation only.None for those who whine on getting one.Personally, would have like something in a contrasting colour.Considering that the only other colour available is RED,I will bide my time as I have a feeling that that colour is not very lucky for me  .Have no desire to join the rarefied group of those who now constitute/run the 'other forum'

PS-Don't you get this feeling that this 'honour' is being doled out too liberally these days.Somewhat like Hitler making Field Marhsall's towards the end.Dilutes it somewhat.
