Hatsan has been rebranded by other manufacturers Hatsan model 125 is nothing but Walther Talon, Falcon and Benjamin models. So its not tough to get Hatsan models. But beware it has lots of power but so so accuracy depends on your luck.

Hatsan isn't exactly known for quality. More for cheap and cheerful products. I would personally steer clear of them, given all opportunities we have for import are precious.

I would like to know about another airgun IZH-Baikal MP 513M. They have mentioned the barrel is hammer forged. How is the quality and accuracy of Baikal.

They'd sent me an e-mail a 3-4 years back, asking me if I was interested in becoming an importer for them. Told them that no commercial import of airguns was allowed in India, but the price list they had sent me was simply mind blowing (cheaper than dirt)!!! At those sort of prices, I would not have very high hopes as to the quality...

Err, I was speaking from the international viewpoint. Living in England, I suppose I may afford to hazard our views here of their market rating. Specially when the great Barry Simpson discouraged me from buying a Hastan shotgun for my wife

My only point is, Indian buyers don't exactly have a pick and choose option. Even with the ease of import, there is still red tape and a considerable amount of money involved in procuring a foreign airgun. Why waste all the time and effort on a Hatsan when you could invest it on something much better.
