which is the top most powerful caliber of rifle in NPB category.....cld b allowed to indian civillian ???

30-06 springfield is best its ammuniton are available throught india .with proper playcement it can kill any species on this earth

The most powerful caliber non-pb is probably the 30mm or 577 TX. However I dont think you could find one in India.
If you did find one in India.. I doubt the ammo would be affoardable.

If these were not constraints... then the medical bills from shooting these would be.

Even if one could fit a butt to the gun and claim it is a rifle it would still be a PB rifle since it is a "service pattern" firearm.

Try looking for .600 Nitro express.

Hi jinnereo,any rifle which can fire /chamber service ammo read,7.62,.303,5.56,etc is PBs,rest of them are NPs,regarding the most powerful one,for what purpose,if you are wondering regarding the most lethal one,i guess the one staring at you from the wrong side of the muzzle :oops:

for GENERAL use i think iof's .315 or .30-06 are good ones avail. in india to indians without major hassles ,rest u can go for the imported ones in the NPB category :cheers:
