Pellet weight and Point of Impact

Post by AAR » Sun Apr 18, 2010 10:16 am

When zeroed in with a medium weight pellet, I have been noticing that my point of impact with heavy pellets is higher than that of the former. I was expecting heavier pellets to behave in quite the opposite fashion.Has anyone experienced something similar?

Are you sure the lighter pellets were lighter? If you have used gsmith before the new stuff, then know this that the gsmith pellets are normally heavier than crosman premiers etc.

Dev,
Pretty sure about the weight, the medium weight pellets that i used were H&N FTT, the heavies in question were Barracudas and G Smith flat heads.
