Have you been offered anything for the .318WR? An uncle of mine has one, but is finding it difficult to peg a price on it. He did get an offer, but was clubbed with another firearm.

Wont 318 and the 300 be Calibers whose fresh ammo would be next to impossible to lay hands on :?: ,we have a single shot 300 Sherwood along with 16 cartridges lying with us,its a beauty as a rifle but the ammo is non exisitant.

Fully agree with you. The .318 is great rifle, no doubt about it, but as time progresses some calibres find favour while some fall of the road! Fortunately, one still has a considerable amount of ammo lying around so that much is taken care of. I am also given to understand that .318 ammo can be imported, assuming that it is in the importables list and that there should be a considerable amount of these rifles in India looking at how popular these were at one time. What surprises me is that why don't the ammo importers actually do so? Maybe it could be economics after all.

.318 W-R ammo is pretty much a custom proposition, though Kynoch may be loading it. In any case, not cheap. .300 Savage is still being loaded in the US, and readily available. Cheers.

What would be value of 318 double barrel rifle of WR in india as they are very expensive in the UK
