Webley Senior .22 pistol - by Arshad - neutral +/-

Post by trammway » Thu Mar 25, 2010 11:22 am

Hi Arshad,

As I'm unable to access the original link as you posted (Moderators, please let me know why I couldn't access only this link http://indiansforguns.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&p=93841), I'm initiating another thread here on the same topic.

I have paid the amount to you around 18days back and still waiting for the delivery to happen, till this morning I couldn't get any details from postal department and only now after 3 hours of my time in the post office / speed post hub I could get this details as below:

The movement particulars of EU xxxxxxxxx are as follows:
Date & Time From Office To Office Event Remarks
16/03/2010 13:01:41 MORADABAD Article Booked

Postal link to verify the same: http://services.ptcmysore.gov.in/Speedn ... r=EUxxxxxx

(I'm deleting the tracking number to avoid someone else picking up the consignment)

The post office people are telling me that the parcel has not dispatched from Moradabad itself, and I couldn't reach you over mobile also. I'm in vain try reaching you.

The transaction/deal would have been much easier if only you had sent it through a reputed courier, I remember you were telling me that if you sent it by courier it will go to customs and I need to stand in front of the customs officer. Brother I really don't understand why should we go to customs if any transaction is happening with in India ?

I would greatly appreciate if you get into the issue and push yourself postal guys to dispatch the parcel at the earliest.

I heard them saying the To office should show Chennai if the parcel is on transit, but in my case To office is also empty. The local post office people (Chennai Hub) are saying the sender needs to talk to the people in Moradabad post office to push the parcel out. They have also given me a number to contact in Moradabad.

Waiting for Arshad's action...

I never heard of such things before, Can anyone please shed some light on this please??
@ Arshad , It would have made sense if you could have told this to Siva before buying this Pistol.
I hope this comment has never been made before buying this pistol  .

Iam surprised to see the shipping takes about 18 days once the money has been deposited ??

@ mods : I have a suggestion here not to delete a thread until the goods have been dispatched in good condition.

Hope we expect you to answer here regarding the status of the pistol.
