Actually, MOA, (the elder 8) ) had a very informative piece about this pistol, danged if I can find it.
Good pics, now show us how it shoots.Start at a more realistic 10m, before you go up to 25m?

thanks eljefe for contributing on the origin of IOF Ashanti ...

I personally have never fired a calibre below 9mm luger although have handled a lot of Walther PPKs thats why I thought the gun looked like it.. now I know it closely resembles a browning 1910!!

Made DD on 29-01-09 and got regd on GSF on 05-02-09 and got delevery on 04-02-10 net 365 day from booking.
One more info for every one as their is one shop opp to GSF gate , his name is Santosh Kumar who sells cover for pistol and his mobile no is 09874498617 and 09331284105 he is very cooperative , u can get any info as what is current no and when we except our turn.
Now i am trying for ALL India license

Hello Sallu,
I called the guy on the above mentioned numbers.He is really helpfull.
I sent final payment draft alongwith photocopy of the booking letter which I recieved after 6000 rupees payment for my pistol.I have All India License.

Hello Amjad,

I have also booked a pistol from Cossipore, I sent out the draft on 28-01-2010. I have checked online and they have issued me the registration number.
When did you applied for your pistol and what waiting time did they gave you? and How long did u waited to receive the booking letter with the final amount requested ?.
