Can we have the name and address of the gunsmith who has done the wonders on this rifle. I am having the same rifle in original old looks and wants some makeover for it, as it's very heavy and doesn't look good. Was planning to sell it but now i think my olddie can also look that gud. Is there any professional gunsmith in delhi-ncr for that.

Rp,
Rifle is deposited with a gun dealer in east delhi, but it's the same old look as shown in the link by vikram.

Dealer himself has made several attempts to buy it, but always denied to get it refurbished. I will post the original photo's within couple of days.

Regards
Bhupesh

the scope bases which fit s 202 does fit the iof but the screws which come with the base does not fit as the dia is bigger then the holes. so beware

M3 Allen bolts will fix this problem, they are a perfect match for the threads in the receiver of the IOF .30-06

Any good hardware store that sells fastners, bolts, nuts and assorted Allen bolts, go for the brand "Unbrako" they're the best available here.

Any rifle chambered for the .30-06 cartridge will shoot .30-06 cartridges of any make. And any rifle barrel will get hot when shots are fired through it. No exceptions. The thinner the barrel, the faster it will heat up. Cheers.
