Hi guys,
Greetings!all members
I never knew Joy is so impatient with the ladies  his pictures are not pretty up to the mark for his lady love(Shus....) i wish he had waited to get back home and used a good hig resolution camera for his Shusmita`s portfolio/screen test instead
just for your information, the sights are not aftermarket and are not self luminous, however we are coming up with more such options and a total reconstruction very soon.which would give this pistol a unique image and of course a lot of safety and performation enhancing features as well 8).

regards
bobby

Ok guys ...I promise some good pictures soon , I am off till 29th from tomorrow( cairo - alexandria - Jodhpur - Jaisalmer : unbelievable trip ) So I guess 30th is when I shall get down to use my DSLR on the piece .
First report on firing - smooth . I wish I had a thumb rest on the grip though .

I drove out today - 50 kms from delhi - middle of no where - shot 20 rounds at a target from 15 feet distance . Missed five completely , got 2 on x( almost overlapping ) , one between 9 and 10 at 7 o" clock , the rest 12 between 6 , 7 and 8 circles apread between 4 to 8 o"clock . I am shooting a bit low . Got ot get used to the recoil and improve my grip . Shall get help from Abhi and Sanjay in due course ...
Imported a optical fibre sight for my shotgun , methinks I can put it on this one ...shall have to ask Bobby .

BTW the target was an NRA B3 target .

Hello all,

I submitted application with 6000 draft and i got a letter from cossipore that waiting period is months and i should deposite balance amount by mar 2010.my 6000 draft date was 2nd jun 2009I will be sending rest draft today.can anyone tell when will my weapon delivery date.my registration date in cossipore which is in letter is 30th jun 2009.
Moreover i have got a lot of info here on IFG.thanks.I would like to modify it so that it performs well and is reliable.i have been to gun accessories people they do it.but i didnt like the rib which they gas weld.it will harm the gun because of thermal expansion as my fathers friend said who is in gun manufacturing business since 50plus years.
In meeruth afaq khan is there.plz do suggest.
I have posted my introduction in welcome and intro page.

amjadkarim16,

I would suggest that once you get the pistol fresh from the factory, you put a good number of bullets through it (depending upon your ammo quota) . Get a feel of your firearm , see its performance and only then decide what modifications would you like to get done. The cosmetic modifications that one gets done is a matter of personal choice . A few members here who have bought a new Ashani from the factory in the last two years or so have posted good things about its performance without being tweaked by a gun smith.

Each to his own.

The maximum purchase period is 1 year according to Arms Act. But State government gives in pieces. It means u can extend ur period 3 times. In punjab they give 6 months first then they extend for another six months. Only Home Secretary can extend your purchase period for more than a year.
