Hi aditya , Reminton 870 is real good pump action gun ,What is the barrel length ,In case it is 30 inche , you can easely extend its magazine capacity to 10 shot by adding extended magazine tube. I have winchester model 12 Riot model with 21 inche barrel ,6 shot magazine capacity.This is all time classic American pump action . zinx sorry for interfering in your thread. Cheers James....

with slam-firing capability.

Slam fire is when the gun fires on the breech block closing on a loaded chamber without the trigger being pulled.If your gun is doing this then it is defective and needs a visit to the gunsmith.It is dangerous to load such a gun.

If on the other hand you mean that there is no trigger disconnector and that the gun keeps on firing if the trigger is kept depressed then it is not slam firing.
