this a ideal gun for shooters rather then for self defense...

Eternalme, Lionheartguru
If this pistol was available in India for the purpose of target shooting, shooters would not buy it for the followng reasons;
1. The trajectory of both LR and WMR are more or less the same at 50 m (max. competition distance)
2. For Free Pistol Event due to the higher recoil it cannot be used. Also the barrel length is less.
3. For standard Pistol (25 m), the rounds WMR are far too expensive and also the recoil factor.
Now if this pistol were made available ( in my dreams) YES, it would be a fantastic purchase, because the WMR round performs far better than the .32 . Pluse the grip of the pistol is slightly boxy and if I am not mistaken has pachmayr thereby promoting excellent 'gripping'. Also 30 rounds is one helluva firepower. This pistol will , with all its features will be a fantastic self defense weapon. AMT a French Manufacturer also produced a similar pistol (WMR)with longer barrel but overall ugly.

lionheartguru , Winchester's Supreme .22 WMR loaded with a 34 grain jacketed hollow point bullet has a muzzle velocity of 1690 fps with 216 ft. lbs. of muzzle energy from a 6.5" pistol barrel.
.32 ACP is 950 fps from a 4" barrel. This reflects the difference.
This Pistol if successfull would be ideal pistol for recoil sensetive people for self defence, 30 round of WMR is decent fire-power , i would surely love to keep one in my SUV .Shooting this would be fun. Cheers James.....

SInce you are in SA, try and get hold of this gun, you wont regret it. Do some shoting with it, try to post it on Utube and post it here, so that chaps like me (In India), who can only hope in hell ,can at the very least share your JOY.
