Firstly the ban on import of firearm and then this endless wait, the government should either make sure that the gun is provided when required or life the ban on import of firearms, for, if a firearm is required for self defense a a person can't be put to wait for three years just to get a firearm.

We have posted a link where you can register your grievance against the Arms act , Law online.
The more grievances we have the more are the chances that some of the suggestions will be implemented in the new arms act.

I was informed by someone ordance factory officials hold meetings to decide who should be given preference depending on certain urgent conditions this meeting is held once in a month. One may get product the pistol within one month if a person is under grave threat or living in danger zone.Further I have heard pistol r manufactured according to demand unlike revolvers for revolver one can get maximum of 3 months of waiting time now as these r produced in bulk. Only indian ordance and Belgium based cos r manufacturing hammerless pistols. I have talked to several owners of pistol those who bought recently or 2 years back r quitw satisfied with its working no bullets r stuck those who bought 5 years back r having problems like jamming and stucking of bullets after firing 15-20 rounds. So Isuggest go for the new ones.
REGARDS AND GOOD LUCK TO ALL HOPE ALL R ENJOYING WELL

Dear ALL
i FOUND THIS ON NET
Sometimes we need to take a long hard look backwards to see where we came from.
We need to refresh in our hearts, the thoughts our Founding Fathers had, when they wrote down the rules for Liberty.
We must keep that spirit alive, the gift of freedom, a gift they passed on to the future.

Liberty must not be given up to Tierney, ...NOT ON OUR WATCH!

FREEDOM IS NEVER FREE! ...we must fight for it.

Dear mr Mack The Knife,
I had bought one piece around six years back. We were three friends purchasing three guns. That time, I had enquired a lot, and I presume, same situation persists...
Firstly, though it is claimed that the gun is available at different outlets of the IOFs, we seldom get them there. I think, it should be only when the supply outnumbers the demand at Cossipore itself, that the excess production should be being sent to other outlets.
So, all u have to do is to contact the cossipore factory itself. Numbers r available on net. Fortunately, they respond u very well. possibility to get weapon is 100%.
Secondly, if u go to cossipore, it is only a two days process.U go there, furnish documents, get your eligibility verified, if positive, deposit cash, get a slip, take it to CP office, get a transit permit with a minimum of 50 or
100/- Rs official challan within an hour, come back again to factory, handover it to the officials there, and u r free to roam around rest of the day. On your second day, just go to the factory, pick up your parcel, and walk away
cool-ly......!testing the weapon not allowed....!!
Thirdly, they invariably give you an extra magazine, for which, they charge u a reasonable amount.
Please take care that u r very meticulous in taking all the necessary documents with u. A small mistake, and u r shown way out....!!!
Any extra info., can get on the number.
Best luck,
Ajay
