Benjamin -discovery !! Any experience
Hi IFGians,
I am planning to buy Benjamin Discovery in .177 cal online from pyramidair.
I wanted to know if some of you guys have had any experience with the gun, like maintenance ,troubleshooting, servicing etc ?
And if I buy .22 how much % duty I will have to pay ,if that is allowed ?
Many thanks in anticipation.
Regards

Check this link: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5889.
I would suggest you to go for .177 as of now, as import of .22 is not allowed. Go through the posts by seniors w.r.t to import of AR, make sure all your documents are in place, then go for the order.

Jeff Cooper advocated four basic rules of gun safety:
1) All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
2) Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3) Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target.
4) Identify your target, and what is behind it.

i have handled mac1 tuned discovery and shot some 80+ shots. Overall its value for money, very light weight, good accuracy upto 30 mts .ok trigger.
i will suggest to get pcp from a airgunsmith with some preparation .as companies like pyramdyair just delivers the stock they have.

Re: Benjamin -discovery !! Any experience
hi ! i have a stock .177 discovery and it shoots and handles very well. i have made 80 yds plus hits with out problems. get a good scope as the gun deserves one. i have a leapers 4x 32 but plan a 3x9 for it. it even shoots gsmith pellets well.
the gun really shines using H &N barracuda 10.6 grain pellets.
get a tuned weapon would be better.
