Which is the better Diana
Which air rifle, the Airking 54 or the Magnum 350 (both in .22) would be a better buy if one was to consider better balance, better handling, superior hitting power and excellent accuracy.
Please give me your views on the above topic.
Thanks in anticipation!

Re: Which is the better Diana
Why only a Diana? Why not consider some from the Weihrauch or AirArms range?

Re: Which is the better Diana
Diana is like choosing a classic rifle (You can compare them like a Merc or Beamer) .
I have ordered a Mag 350 (1.77) which is expected to reach India anytime within this week.
Btw how are you planning to get an .22?
Other similar brands which are recommended by Abhijeet like Weihrauch, Beeman and AirArms are excellent. But they are slightly pricey.
Take care,
Manicks

I already use a Diana 34 in 177 which is devastatingly accurate. I also have a Weihrauch HW 80 in .22. Since the Diana is an old and trusted companion I am a bit partial towards it, therefore it's either the 350 Mag/54 Airking, only question... which one???

Yes You are right and wrong. HW80 requires lots of technics to fire. You you hold it wrong it will shoot like an IHP Since you are used to with Diana, you cannot shoot a better gunrover12 wrote:I already use a Diana 34 in 177 which is devastatingly accurate. Rover....here is something I know...since I've fired all three guns...the 350 is almost a bigger version of the 34...long, heavy and a tough to cock...not very accurate because of its awesome power.....requires some technique to handle and not very easy to shoot....you need to learn how to shoot this gun...rover12 wrote:I already use a Diana 34 in 177 which is devastatingly accurate. The 54 is very heavy...but very balanced...very accurate...it is forgiving since its recoil absorption mechanism makes up for shooter errors...best if bench rested or in the kneeling position...off hand you need some muscle
Id say..if you are a Diana fan...you must have all the three....for now, go with the 54...

HI
It depends on your built, 54 is bit heavy but a very good springer , its recoiless , sliding barrel, fixed barrel, very accurate
you don need a scope stop,
so lot of advantage

Re: Which is the better Diana
Got the 54 Airking a while ago, sorry for the delay in getting back!
Performance is pretty good and have been getting decent groupings of 1.5 inches at range of 90 feet(bench rested, that's the distance I get on my terrace). Yes the rifle is a bit heavy but beautifully balanced, look wise it's great.....the extended stock.... the slightly shorter barrel.... the side lever..... all add up in giving it a very different kind of look, much more sinister than an average air rifle.... The cushioning effect of the recoil absorbing mechanism is quite a revelation. Feels almost as smooth as a .22 lr when you fire it. Been using Diana Magnum, Diabolo Kugeln and H & N Diabolo(latter two are wadcutter) pellets.
"Thanks guys for helping me make the right decision".
Cheers for sure this time!!!
