Hi Friends,..... I recently visited a site called http://www.aimco.co.in. The site is offering IHP rifles, Pistols and Blanca models of air pistols to sell online with in India. I ordered a model called "model 200 5.5mm" and the method of transportation is through is "Gati cargo"
Any body from this forum are experienced with http://www.aimco.co.in regarding its quality and service or regarding the model that I have specified.....? please through some light.

Dear Kitty,
Personally never heard of this company. Usually, any such website also has names of the owner/promoter, this is not the case here.If the model you have ordered (not imported) is genuine IHP, then I suppose you should be OK. However my only word of advise is, if you wish to buy a air pistol/rifle, it is always recommended that you first contact a friend who knows about these things then take him along to select your gun. Anyway, I wish you all the best and happy shooting. Do inform us what your experience is with the gun and if possible show it to somebody knowledgeable.
Regards

Hi hvj1, Thanks for your reply. I already have IHP 35 .22 model. I purchased this one from KOVI Shop Bangalore which was recommended by TenX. That rifle is really nice one and thanxs to TenX. Now when i was browsing through, I found this website http://www.aimco.co.in which climes to send air pistols and air rifles across India through "GATI Cargo". When I ordered and sent an inquiry regarding the quality comparison with IHP, they replied back as follows.

"Dear sir,

You have ordered for one m200 5.5mm airrifle please deposit 2400 at our icici bank account number 000605012464 (aimco enterprise) and send us an email stating details of deposit. . Your goods would be sent within one working day of receipt of the payment by gati roadways freight will be to pay (around 550-850)and you will receive the goods within 7days. Please confirm your delivery address.

M200 is a better looking airrifle than ihp but it is heavier than ihp. You can be assured of the quality of the airrifle.

Regards,
Aimco "

Before making the payment I wanted your`s valuable suggestions and experience if any body have.

Thank You,
Krishna,

Dear Kitty,
My very FIRM AND STRONG ADVISE to you is DO NOT DEPOSIT YOUR MONEY. Let me help you out by contacting my good friend Dr. Shirsat, who designs all the IHP rifles/pistols. Just hold till I confirm the AIMCO setup. Keep yourself online for the next 15 minutes.
Regards

Kitty
I have checked with Dr., AIMCO is a distibutor - JM Biswas & Co. based in Calcutta. They are OK. You can go ahead. Still, do let me know about your experience.

Hi, Aimco is a good air rifle company of Kolkata. They are reliable. Many members of this forum purchased air rifles from them with satisfaction. I also visited the shop personally and purchased one IHP .177 air pistol from them. The owner of Aimco / J Biswas & Co., Mr. Joydeep Biswas is a member of this forum. You can trust them.

I have a Mod 200; it's superb. I only wish if Aimco can transform it to a pcp repeater.

Man,
AIMCO Enterprise is a well known dealer of Air Guns/Pistols and I have personally dealt with him with satisfaction. I had brought an Air Pistol from him. One can trust him and I would once again say that out of Joy Biswas 'Joy' is pleasure and 'Biswas' is Trust . Regarding the quality of the product u can perosnally query with him on mail. Many people in this forum have dealt with him to satisfaction.
