It's Russian. Not imported into the US, or any other country, that I know of. Interesting gun, and would love to get my hands on one. According to some importers of Russian guns here, it's very difficult to get reliable delivery from the Russian manufacturers. Cheers.

And come to think of it, it will most likely never make it to the US, since capacity is federally restricted to three shots for all waterfowl; and so for all game in many states on the state level. If they were allowed in, they'd probably have a couple chambers plugged and welded shut. So, never will own one.

Vikram: Quite possible. The Canadians always did import sporting guns from the East Bloc, and we got to drool over them when passing through in the good old days. And sometimes we did buy. Guess I'll have to give my buddy in Whitehorse, Y.T. a call and see if he can find out. Good excuse for a trip. Though bringing one back would be VERY difficult nowadays. Cheers.
