Re: .303 Lee Enfield... Can I........?
As far as I know, they were actually for NCC and other uses. I'm surprised that it ended up in a guy's license. But why just two grooves?...Any one who could provide more info on this?

fowad and the others are talking about a lee Enfield in .22 calibre.
Are you talking about the same gun in the same calibre? considering a Lee in .22 is rare, you are lucky to get to fire it.

I know people with PB licenses who own .303s today. None of them are lesser mortals though. The last example was be Director General.coltpython wrote:Hi,

No. They are not, except for the bore. The .375 2 1/2" N.E. is a slimmer straight case, shorter than the .375 H&H Belted, or Flanged, Magnum cartridge, and much less powerful.sitar wrote:penpusher wrote:Bettymoo,

Re: .303 Lee Enfield... Can I........?
I have been in the market for one for quite some time . I think the NCC modified some 0.303 for training purposes . Doc confirms the modification . I have myself shot hundreds of rounds of 0.22 with that rifle . I have searched for one in almost 10 cities , crawling all possible gun shops but have never found one up for sale . methinks, they are still to be found in NCC gun racks .
Do let me know if anyone ever finds one up for sale.
best
