Can any body tell that camrades in kolkata IOF are making some better Pistol or same old crude desi katta. Earlier somebody told that some improvements are done, is that true
What are the changes they have made.

Dealers are selling it for 1.3 lacs. The waiting period with OF is 12 months.

Hi All!

When someone applies for a pistol from GSF paying Rs. 6000/-, they receive a letter advicing them to pay the remaining amount by a particular date. After they pay the remainder amount, I would like to know from the members who have gone through this process as to how long one needs to wait before they can collect the pistol.

I am asking this because I need to request the Commissioner's Office to extend the purchase period as the due date nearing. Thanks in advance.

i got my ashani last year at that time the waiting was 9 months, i don't know the status now.
about the extension of purchase period - they extend it for 3 months only at a time so i had to get it extended 3 times, i think you'll also have to do the same.

I had applied for a Pistol. They told me waiting period is 12 months. I didn't want to wait for so long. So, I have applied for cancellation of Pistol allotment. I have applied for a Revolver on 13 Aug and I have got a reply to collect the Revolver on 10 Sep from Kanpur. Finally it is a Revolver for me.

The local licensing authority will extend your purchase period upon showing them the GSF booking amount receipt... this is normal practice across India and is done as a matter of course.

It is in a very good condition.
Now I am making my mind 2 buy a .32 pistol from gsf.
so just guide me pls.
one thing I want 2 ask is that is there any difference in d pistol of cossipore & muradnagar.
As I belong 2 UP so I am planning it 2 buy from muradnagar instead of cossipore.
Can there b more chances of having a defect on d basis of outlet sale.
