Hey Yaj,
The khukri was a gift from a friend, it came from Nepal, no there are no markings on the blade, except for some kind of a design which looks a bit like this /\/\/\/\
I will post some pictures asap
Regards
Ranjit.

In days of sailing ships they were used for punching holes in canvas. I once had a 2 blade mariner's knife. It had a flat blade and a reamer.

Re: Let's see your knives - big and small.
you are right I checked it in the net it also has an sewing eye.........
It's original intent was to allow a soldier in the field to repair anything made with leather or cloth (tents, boots, tarps). The sewing eye is punched through the leather or cloth and used to loop a leather cord or thick thread/string through the leather or cloth..........

Hey guys, Here are my latests. Let me know if you like them.
The big one looks kind of like a Marine KBAR doesn't it ? It's not though. I like them both. The little one has a closing mechanism and a safety lock ! The only problem is I got crappy sheath.
