hey guys
iam from chennai and been longing to buy one gun for a long time. now my plan is to buy a air pistol now (.177) in chennai and buy one air rifle(.22) from kerala cause have house in both state. all i want to know which is the best gun in both catagory and the price of it (indian make). and the best pellet for both guns
if i want to take my gun to kerala in trian, is it a illegal stuff cause we have screening of baggage in railway station here, and i dont want to get caught by some policemen calling me terrorist. please answer.

It is better not to take any weapon, even an airgun by train because the security situation is like that. Our security guys can't really make out the difference between a firearm and an airgun. Result - your journey will unneccessarily be delayed or cancelled and you will end up in the railway police station for hours of questioning and your case will also be played up by the ignorant media here. Even if you produce the purchase bill, you will be subjected to unneccessary harrassment. So, better buy the airpistol from Chennai and the airgun in Kerala. Or else, order it from http://www.aimco.co.in The owner is a member here by name Joy Biswas. He will courier it to your address. He is also reasonable in terms of pricing. Also, take time to go through the Yellow pages section to know the addresses of dealers.
About the best Indian airgun, anyone will advise you to go for the IHP (National) and Master Shot pellets.
