Post by sat » Fri Jul 17, 2009 12:35 am

A friend needs to replace the spring in his air rifle, he needs to mail order the lubrication oil/moly grease etc for the internals.. any suggestion what items one should order & where in the US can one order these from. Someone will be carrying these items back to India..

a search showed up ...

Beeman Metal-2-Metal paste (99130)
Beeman MP-5 Metalophilic Oil
Beeman Spring Gel 9295 or Mainspring Dampening Compound 9320

Degrease the spring and then give the spring a coat of motorcycle chain wax from an aerosol followed by a light coat of moly grease.

Too much grease (dampening) will result in slightly lower velocity figures.
