.22 cal Air Rifle -Help me Choose the Best Option(Indian)

Hello to All ,

I am thinking of buying a Air Rifle .22 cal .I have a local asw make(I spend some 1500rupees 5 years back) rifle which was unused for many years(had the pics here).So ,Hoping to Exchange it to get a Better make.

Now after some research on internet about different available options(Indian make only as my budget is less).I found there are some Calcutta made guns which may be at par with IHP 35 .22 cal.Kindly Recommend Me Which one is a better Brand?Also ,Is there any Air Rifles which uses parts from IHP National Air Rifle Models?

Few Choices :
1)IHP 35 .22 (and there is a deluxe version.what is it for?)
2)Tommy
3)SDB(?)
4)canon(?)
I am not in for a Hurry Buying.Will visit Some Armouries at Kochi(n) before finalizing.Meantime Pour your suggestions.I know that there are threads all over this forum about IHP and all.but thought of a thread to compare the Comparatively Powerful Spring Load Gun amongst Indian options.

IHP 35 .22 is the best choice.
It ll cost u around Rs. 3600/-
I ll suggest u IHP 35 .177 it is much better than .22.

.177 got better Velocity ,right? Will Someone tell me more about the benefits and demerits of .177 as well as .22 cal .

Hello team,
bought a IHP 35 .22calibre Air Rifle for the time being from T.Jacob&co,Press Club Road,Ernakulam/kochi kerala.the old one(ASW Make whose breech seal has got damaged as per their inspection) got exchanged for Rs800.Total Cost is Rs3900 for Rifle.got the deal with master pellets 200pack for Rs3100/- .the screws securing the butt of the rifle is rusted which was taken from a fresh pack(Something to do with Coastal City?-salty air,water rusting..?)!also ,the wood work seems non-appealing-but it is the case with most of the pieces they got!.

apart from that it is a good deal.

there was some dieseling during the first few shots.later seems OK.yet to do a target practice due to the space problem!.
