Re: IOF .32 revolver

Hello Fellow IFG's
I want to share some latest updates regarding .32 IOF Revolver . The latest reduced price of IOF .32 Revolver is RS- 73806 /- ex Kanpur ( inclusive of all taxes ) . And the waiting period after paying the full amount DD is just 30-35 days.
So one does no need to wait for long time to get their hand on their new revolver. So the moment you courier your DD to Kanpur you need to be ready with all permissions needed to be taken along to get the delivery of the revolver from the factory. And secondly one need to hire an agent at Kanpur( if you want your work to be done without any delay ) to get you a transit license and permissions from local authority . For rs 2000/- they will pick you up from railway station ( if you go by train ) in an auto , get you through all the paper permissions , take you to IO factory , and they drop you to the point of your departure . Well not bad for just Rs 2000/- . Well it is not only convenient to have the services of an agent but also safe because these agents are members of established gangs ( it is advised to check the credentials of the agent before hiring one), They assure you a safe passage till your departure point . Some of my friends have got their revolver from Kanpur and they have all taken the services of the same agent and they were all satisfied.

It was a copy of the Enfield and not the Webley.'Was' because now they have made changes to the internals.Contrary to what I had believed,it does have a transfer bar safety.

That stupid manual safety might get you into deep trouble if you ever need to use it in a hurry.

Arjun,

Avoid the .22 at all costs. IT is nothing but a piece of junk. The .32 would be the one to go for.

Hello fellas ,
Bad news to all Indian Ordinance .32 bore revolver now costs Rs. 82,512/- ( a heafty increase
of roughly 9k ). Bad luck all you people who were preparing or planing to buy one . But there is one good
news that waiting period has come down to less that one month. A friend of mine had sent full amount D.D
on 6 june and got the delievery on 23 rd june , and he got the revolver at the old price since he had
already paid the full amount in one go itself. The price was increased on 20th june.
