Need to buy a new DESI gun. Help needed!!!!!!

Hi everyone,
i would like u experienced people to help me here please. First i was thinking to buy an imported air rifles like the gamo cfx or crosman storm xt. I then read the read the topic on import and i found out that the procedure was very time consuming and so many custom duties bla bla bla bla........ So i decided to buy a Indian made rifle. I was once in Bareilly and thought to buy a air rifle from there as people say Bareillys rifles are considered to be very good but i didnt buy because there are many crooks that cheat you and give guns at high rates. I live in Ludhiana so i thought to go and check out the stores over here and i found many guns but i didnt care to see the manufacturers name so i wanted to know which manufacturers gun should i buy. some guns i found were very finely made and very good looking,polished and good quality but i checked all the guns made by tommy ihp and national none their guns matched with the one i saw. At present i have a 30yr old .22 rifle of a company called pioneer.ive been firing it for the last 11yrs. I would like you experienced people to help me out in this. oh yeah and i use .22 air gun pellets of a company called magna or marshal shot. that costs me rs20, not as good as the gamo or crosman pellets but does the job pretty well.

Please try to go through some threads regarding air gun purchases in this very section. You may have to spend quite a lot of time going through advices, comments, suggestions and complaints inside each thread by a lot of IFGians, but i tell you from my personal experience that it's worth the time...

Every make of air guns has its own advantages & disadvantages...

In the end it up to you and you only to decide what is most suitable...

IHP airguns are by far the best among Indian made airguns. Pellets manufactured by GSmith co are rated pretty high among Indian made ones. Go through earlier posts for more info.
