Hi All
I am a beginner airgun shooter. Planning to join SVS club in Mumbai for regular practice. I am fairly comfortable in using IHP 25s available in the club.
I wanted to buy an IHP 0.177 gun but I am not able to make up my mind between IHP 25 and 35 model.
As I understand, IHP 35 has a higher barrel velocity which may mean better accuracy but is a few inches longer and a Kg heavier than N25.
feedback / suggestions / views are welcome in this regard.
The 2nd question I have is, if I carry the gun in the boot of my car during my daily commute (60 odd kms), is it likely to affect the sight alignment / settings? What type of protection is available in India?
regards
GAG

Gag,
You have in a way answered your question yourself. Both the 35 and 25 are equally good. People have individual preferences when it comes to the two of them. Shoot with both and decide for yourself which one you would want to pick up. The 35 has the added weight on it's side. It all comes down to what you would be comfortable to shoot with. Also, you have mentioned that you would be enrolling as a member in a club. Why don't you put the purchase of the IHP on hold and import one after you have your membership? You will end up saving at least 4000+. For your scond question, you could buy a case to0 carry your airgun. Available at quite a few places. All the best.

Thanks Prabhath
I bought an IHP 35 (0.177). I do not find it significantly heavier than N25. The grouping was also good on the first day!

Hi
No accessories yet.. Planning to buy a hard case, cleaning kit and a pellet pouch in the near future
Gun is shooting well. Much better groups than the club N25s.. may be the spring / washer is new and therefore better velocity, accuracy
Regards

I don't know if you will be able to find cleaning for 0.177 barrel. i had searched and people say that cleaning kit is just not available for this bore. Most of the cleaning of the barrel is done through improvisation.
I have just started a thread in the Gun Care & Gunsmithing Section asking for the same to other fellow members.
