I recently read a post by a member stating that the HW 100 was a bad choice for india because of the high temperatures we have. So I thought to get in and say the contrary.
A month back added a .22 HW 100 ( 24 joules) to my collection. It gets quite hot over here in Andhra in the summer and I have not noticed any problems. It looks great, feels great and shoots great and with the sound moderator, is just amazing.
Shot 10 rounds on paper at 25 meters. The two to the left side were the first two shots (getting used to the trigger).
I would recomend the HW 100 any day.

This is good shooting, Catfish. You seem to have a good hand.... I recommend you try your skills at competitions too.... even the IFG Postal Match, which we will soon revive for the current season...

incidentally, the reports i've read of pcps misbehaving often involved the cylinders being left in the sun. i take it you did the same before shooting then? might give some ideas to the rest of us.

The instructions from the manufacturer advice not to keep the gun in temperatures above 50 degrees celcius. I doubt many of us would go out in those sort of temperatures. The gun does not have any problem with our andhra summer, but the shooter needs to take care not to get dehydrated. It is my first PCP and have not had it too long so I am not an expert. Lets see how it does. German engineering hardly ever goes wrong, but we need to do our bit and care for the gun no matter who manufactures it.
I still have not got over it. It is a real beauty.

Way to go Catfish. Lady luck must really be smiling at you. First the TX200 and now the HW 100.......awesome. A question, did you pick up the HW 100 locally or did you get someone to bring it down for you?
