Someone went postal in NY... Which incidentally has some of the strictest gun laws in USA.... If the gun laws were more liberal the final toll of dead & injured would have been a lot less... and in stead of a hostage situation they would have a very dead attacker on their hands... :P

Actually the chap was of Vietnamese descent and Binghamton is upstate New York state and gun rules are much more lax there compared to NY City. Its a great hunter country and some of the best gun smiths live around there. Thoughts and prayers go out to the victim and their families. These shootouts seem to always occur one after the other.
