Range Trip

My .260 on the table and the Maverick
The table on the right has a 44/70 Sharps...

Running a class on setup, shooting and cleaning... am the fat guy...

Rifle in the foreground is my .260 with a Nightforce 12x42x56 scope. I do turn the power down at this range.

WOW Nice range and Nice rifle. what is the make of this nice Benchrest one MOA ? and ..where the range is located ?

Its a customised Savage F110 with a Walther Lothar barrel, trued and aluminium bedded.

This is a 5 shot group during load development a little under .5 inches.
When I do my part... i.e. not shoot flyers... it does a lot better.

Nope... I have my back to the camera... wearing glasses... the only brown guy in the pic. :)

The guy on the extreme left is very interesting though... owns 148 weapons. Name it and he probably has a copy or two.
Mostly tactical/milsurp stuff. Including several full auto's. Though his shooting does leave a little to be desired.

Olly the group isnt from one of my better days, but thank you.
The barrel is coming upto the 1500 rounds mark, and I do have a replacement on the way.
