Thanks, Amit.

I think the first option for example no. 2 is better - the border lines are more distinct.

The guns are too small and unnecessarily take up space. The font is a bit wishy washy as well.

The one with the chakra is okay but I would ditch the caption - the message has to be short and sweet.

The last two are workable but Amit has more attractive designs.

All the colours should be black and white though.

If any member can change the colour, I can mail him the file.
Picture is quite sharp in the file.

Edit Note:-- Although it is finalised , I have edited as the use of the images Ashok Chakra and Lion etc may not be permitted for civilians.

Wow! Great contributions everyone! :) Fantastic job! :)

In terms of the practical aspect of a cost effective print run I would have to agree with Mack The Knife, option no. 2 by Amit/ Conty is looking really good... it is simple, would look good in plain black & white/ monochrome.

We have a small advantage here, in that our site URL name conveys a lot of what needs to be conveyed without the need for saying much more, plus even if someone is not immediately interested in guns - a name like IndiansForGuns has a certain curiosity "hook" (as they call it in the ad world)...

So lets keep it cheap, simple and produce as many as we can - with a clear focus on wider distribution!

Am going to begin calling for quotes from vendors tomorrow for Amit's design. Will let you know how it goes. So everyone can compare with the quotes they are getting in their cities.

Cheers!

I think Sujay's usage of the Ashoka Chakra is what our Logo should be. I suggest using the Ashoka Chakra with two good looking guns laid at angles like on our current logo. Believe me, I tried to do it and can't get it to work so Please some of you guys should help me out.

Under that Ashoka Chakra in some decent font could be the link to our site in MIXED cased, like "IndiansForGuns.com".

Edit: I've done my best, can't super-impose the guns on top though. I think I need better photoediting software. Maybe a little better centering will help too.

Edit2: Removed Picture. Never mind... :( back to the drawing board....

Abhijeet,

If we go for Conty's second option in monochrome, should I go for a sticker measuring 12" x 2" or do you want another size?

Where is my post that says that the use of the Ashok Chakra would be a violation of law :?

Hi Danish,

I don't think people would like to paste anything on Gun barrels, not me atleast .. :) . Puspose of making these stickers is to advertise our group that's why we are thinking of stickers which can be put on cars, scooters etc..

Hi Inder,

This was just a wierd idea which i thought while reading this forum. But the idea of making stickers are too good. I don't think that these sticker will cost much and we should first distribute these sticker for free. I can contribute whatever you people say in this good work.

Good point penpusher!

Abhijeet/Mack The Knife... looks like we're narrowing our choice to a monochrome type #2 from my initial designs. Let us know if you guys had any chances to talk to printers yet.

Amit
