As an example of overcoming adversity, Karoly Takacs has few peers. He was part of Hungary’s world champion pistol-shooting team in 1938, when an army grenade exploded, crippling his right hand. Ten years later, having taught himself to shoot with his left, he won two gold medals in the rapid-fire class.

Generally the side lever springer are very heavy than normal break barrel and make tired easily in field and diana is well know for barrel droop faults .as far as power its good in its class.
cheers

Re: diana 52
hello
i have a diana 52 and apart from the fact that it is a bit heavy and slightly ackward to load till you become used to it, it is a very good air rifle, especially in the indian context. it is very powerful and very accurate.

Prabhu,
Some unsolicited and extreme advice
Go for a Diana 34 in .22 instead of a 52. You only loose 100fps with the 34 in .22, but gain tremendously in ease, comfort and mobility.
Here is a comaparison

Re: diana 52
Prabhu,
Have shot a couple of 52s that my friends own and found them to be reliable and good. The weight though can be a disadvantage. Are you planning on importing one or getting it locally? If importing, look at the latest models that Diana has come out with and then take a call. Diana's do have problems with barrel droop but still better off than the Gamos and similar such stuff.

Re: diana 52
Go for Mod-54 if possible. Its recoil management means more accuracy- the pellet leaves the barrel before the recoil can affect it. IMO it is one of the best spring airgun.

Re: diana 52
Waltherguns007,
Check in the dealers listing section on the site. You will be able to get all the addresses you want. But be prepared to pay a hefty price for imported airguns in India. They sell at a very high premium. Work out a budget and try to post. A few members out here might have an imported airgun for sale. The price you would be paying out here would be better than what you would end up paying to a dealer. TenX, one of the members IIRC had an airgun for sale sometime back. Send him a pm and check if it's still available.
