as they say "if its worth doing, then do it yourself" give it a go.
Nagarifle
if you say it can not be done, then you are right, for you, it can not be done.

Re: How much 'Suvidha fees' for getting an arms license
Many thanks Nagarifle,
The problem I was facing was the fact that i was not able to stay at one place for long due to the job requirements, this time I a am in my native place for some considerable long time but then no progress yet.
Thats why I thought about appointing a lawyer who could take care of things in my absence, but seems that was a wrong decision.
Anyways I will keep you guys posted.
Regards

Update -
The police man showed up ,instead of a Sepoy this gent was a Sub inspector and kept complaining about the shortage of man power.
I was give a number of Investigating officer in charge of the 'Chauki' , I called the gentleman only to know that he is in temple right now and not available for the meeting.
The SI told me that my case doesn't stand a good chance as the "General government policy is to discourage civilians from owing firearms", that coming from a person who will be writing the report on my application, rest can be assumed.
My lawyer did a fabulous job, I suppose, as the application moved from court to 'Thaana' in matter of four days and the inquiry is already on way.
Tomorrow I will try to meet the man again and lets see how it goes from there.
Regards

Update --
Finally I had to witness the actual affairs of the system,
the cops were talking about the salary they and comparing it with what I make , and I didn't feel very comfy paying them but they won't let me go otherwise, and said "chadawa chadao aur jao".
The SI who appeared so honest in the morning was acting differently, the senior SI finally opened mouth and asked money openly.
I had never been in this kind of situation before, where despite being a very honest citizen I had to pay to someone who is supposed to stand for the law.
pathetic ways, and here goes another **** rs.
Shame on me for letting them take it, if there is reincarnation who would like to be born in this kind of society ?
