Guys stop getting into hair splitting and enjoy the hobby.
Spend more time firing the gun than punching the keyboard.
Let me assure you that on my new IHP 35 the fatory trigger is quite acceptable.
If you fancy a real two stage trigger like rekord get yourself an HW or TX200 and enjoy the shooting.

Answers to

(1) and (2). A two stage trigger has two definite stages, first, a "take-up" stage, and then a "release" stage. This is usually accomplished either by the configuration of the trigger cam, which contacts the sear or separate spring adjustments for the two stages. The benefit of two stage triggers is that you can take up the first stage, hold, and then follow through with the shot, when the sight picture looks right. The perceived weight of the firing stage, being the difference between the two stages, is lighter than the actual weight of pull.

(3) Of the ones that I know, the Diana T01 with two screws and the unitized Diana T05 with one screw are the two different types of two stage trigger mechanisms. Only in the latter the pull weight cannot be adjusted. It may provide you with a feeling of being lightened only (debatable,though).

(4)In pseudo two stage triggers, the first stage is just a pivoting trigger blade that does not move sears. The down side is that they are more difficult to adjust correctly. More like the Gamo factory triggers. And our very own IHP.

(5)True two stage trigger mechanism. This means that as the trigger is pulled the bottom sear gradually disengages with the top sear until the two disengage completely and the rifle goes off. If the pressure on the trigger is released at any point before full disengagement, the bottom sear will automatically return back to full engagement. This typeof trigger allows very fine but safe operation because it is the release of the 2nd stage that actually makes the rifle fire.
