Jeetesh, I am not here to argue or challenge. I don't care if you get 1/4" at 500 meter. As long as you are happy with your shooting and your gun it is ok with me. I question purely based on the fact N figures and theories. It is up to you to answer or not.pkjeetesh";p="64475 wrote:Friends....first time shot at a paper pistol target placed at 80m with an RWS panther31...are these good shots?....and if they are good, then Thirtha....the panther is a springer
I happen to see this article a moment back. Believe me, I was not intended to answer your wink but may be it give you and other some knowledge as BB knows how to put points together.

P.S: Your group is not bad at that range. I cannot do that with a TX +4x scope and kneeling position.
May be with Bench rest. Will try if I have a range that allows me.

you inspired me pkjeetesh!pkjeetesh wrote: now you know what to do with your 25m efforts...
now this is mine at 114 yards. that is as far as the factory wall is from the gate.
Diana 54 w/ 4x scope - shooting a 1/4" ply board. & the little ring is even smaller than a .25NP coin.
pellets were RWS Field Super Point, in .22 cal. all except 1 went through.
I am mighty delighted with the d54 power & constincy - Hope the ones who have a D54 share the same opinion

That's mighty fine shooting. Doubt if my qb can even touch that distance, then again I haven't tried.

Re: 80m shots with RWS P31
Fantastic...Shamsher...so you see there is no harm in trying....I have the same set up as yours...an RWS M54 .22 cal with a diana magnum scope (4 x 32) mounted on a leapers droop compensator and 150m of straight shooting facility at my factory...will try...but the 4x is not good enough for even 60m....the panther shots were achieved with a 3-9x40mm SMK mildot...at 9X magnification...and with an estimated 4'' holdover...we have observed that the M54 pellet drop is from 60m onwards using medium to heavy pellets and to effect better carry we tried lighter flat heads but they were erratic and the pellets even flipped backwards...
