Re: Which airgun should I buy?
Sorry for being not clear with my requirement.
My requirement
My skill : Newbie
Price : Rs 3000-4000
Bore size: .22
Space available : 40 mt free space
primary usage: Target practice and very rarely rat snipping
what i want : Best balance bet power and accuracy. It should hit target 40 mt with reasonable accuracy once my skill develops. I dont know airguns hit 40m but i have space
Recent threads mentioned abt cannon vs IHP thats why i am curious. i will be ordering in 1 week of feb hence this is the right time to analyze + and - of different airguns.

Vijay ...you can get a good .22cal IHP at your price from www.aimco.co.in...IHP .177 may group well at 40m not.22cal...22 will be okay for 20m...IHP is a proven gun...and most other guns manufactured in India are not machined to tolerances...

IHP now sells only one model , deluxe but without jali at muzzle end.
The other one with peep sight has now been discontinued.
Cheers

you can also prefer Gunmark company air rifles, the accuracy is good and also the overall features.
IHP national also is also good and one of the oldest air rifle manufacturer in the country.
I have used used both and found them to be pretty good, but gunmark excels in terms of accuracy.
it costs more than National.

Strider....Gunmark....ahem!....anyway please post your experiences with this wonderful rifle...I want someone to urgently make me believe that I had indeed bought a defective piece...that'll be the only consolation apart from the fact that I have now become a decent gunsmith .....thanks to them...

Re: Which airgun should I buy?
ya..Ok i have been using it for last 3 yrs. and with gsmith flat head .22 pellet ,it hits target at 40 yards with 2" variation ,but accuracy in air gun will better result by right selection of pellets with your air rifle. The gun came with a rail mount for scope and it was never a success with scopes, but after taking out the scope ,it was a matter of time ,when i found the exact pellet to match my air rifle.
Ya my gunmark is better than IHP air rifle,in terms of accuracy and power and recoil and it feels smooth to operate as compared to other makers.
