Would be great if you could mention the pricing just so that we may know how sour the grapes are!

Some very nice guns there,Royal Maratha.Since it's on the website, would you mind if I ask you if these guns are in India and you would sell them within India or abroad?

The Josef Winkler double rifle in particular caught my fancy.Very nice, isn't it?

Congratulations on being able to have access to such good guns.

Best-
Vikram

Great collection. A brief about each of them would be really beneficial for members.

Many thanks for your appreciation. Since I am a hunter turned guns collector the question of price does not arise. All these guns are in India and they are not for sell or export. You will be able to see brief details of each of the guns on Monday.

Great collection agree with Jonah on "sour grapes" do post some of double gun pictures on Nitroexpress forum.

Also if possible do regale us with your hunting day tales or pictures ( ensure they are from when this sport was legal)

Just curious on your website you have link for "selling your guns" are you a dealer as well?

Best

Dear Abhijit,

We are not a Dealer and not intend to be.

Regarding Column: “Selling your Guns” – under this column we wanted to advise the gun owners about the valuation and probable buyer who can be interested. However, looking at the response it is obviously felt that viewers might mistake us as Dealers and hence you will notice that this column has been dropped from the website.

The main purpose of this website is to attract the owners of such exclusive Royal Guns from India to display their weapons on the website, which can be seen by many young viewers. India had lot of such exclusive Guns and Rifles specially made for Rajas, Maharajas and other Royalties. Lot of these treasurers has already taken away by the Gun Manufacturers to the UK and the USA and hence disappeared. However, since the government has banned the export of such weapons from India some good collection is still left over which can be seen by our viewers?

If any one of you has such an exclusive Double Barrel shotguns or rifles, preferably manufactured by English / French or Italian Gun makers, you may send its de.scription along with serial no. and photographs and we will include them in our website.

Particularly, in the UK and the USA there is lot of attraction from the collectors for the guns from India and invariably such websites are not ignored by them.

By putting your weapon weapons on the website you are keeping the secrecy of address where your weapon is lying and hence the weapon remains safe in your custody while it is seen and enjoyed by other viewers. This might increase the value of your weapon and you might find some collector in India who will be interested to acquire, if at all you are interested to sell.

Since this website is now put on IFG and GFI it will have lot of viewers.

Are you in possession of all the guns that are displayed on your web site or is it a collection owned by you, your friends or other known/unknown people.

Dear Mandeep,

Thanks for your both the responses. This is exclusive collection of mine and my family. We have started this website with my collection. However, we are getting much more response and we will keep on up dating when we have more weapons.

Royal,
nice collection.
Only advise I have is to have a good grammar check on the content.
I appreciate the effort and what you're trying to do.

Cheers.
