Brothers Brno VZ24

Post by kragiesardar » Mon Jan 12, 2009 5:59 am

My brothers custom Brno in 30.06, a spotorized 98, VZ24, done at the Brno factory. We both are big fans of the Brno's. The steel used is excellent, infact shops that rebore barelles in the US will refuse to do that on the Brno's as the steel messes up their tools. This one has real good metal work as well as some really nice figured walnut on it.

Tiger stripes and a proper Mauser.Very nice. My kind of rifle. Though I do not much like the hogback style of stock, Grumpy says they are very useful in instinctive style of shooting.I did try a couple of Brnos in that style and the way they come to your shoulder is quite unlike a straight stocked rifle.
