Re: Sneak Preview - National Compressed Air Rifle/Pistol
Hi airdevil,
Nice to know of your work and capability.
Have you considered approaching one of the manufacturers and asking them to manufacture your design and sell it ?
Another possibility that comes to mind is, you take orders and then engage a machine shop to manufacture say 10 or more pieces at a time and then sell them. Please do tell us more. I am very keen to meet you. You have disabled pm's can you please enable it ? I can share contact info and me can meet up.

Re: Sneak Preview - National Compressed Air Rifle/Pistol
Thanks for your suggestions.
Approaching to manufacturer means limitations on creativity & decision making. Another reason is this project is something more than money making avenue to me.
I have a complete set up of required machine shop owners who are willing to do a job work for me so that actual manufacturing is also not a big problem. The only problem I am coming across is legal requirements to be fulfilled are not very clearly understood by me so far.
Just like IHP imports barrels under certain conditions & uses the same in their airguns, some paintball people import their guns & spares under one or other pretext. But I want to do it legitamately because the product I want to make is governed by "Arms act" & I never want to fool around with it for the sake of money or fame.
Anyway my pm seems to be O.K. You may try sending me one.
Regards

I think it has something to do with Yellow card gifted to me by moderators. They must have disabled my PM facility.
You can see my email address in image itself.
Thanks

Re: Sneak Preview - National Compressed Air Rifle/Pistol
This rifle was designed in 2005 & is in use since October 2006. The trigger is completely different than AF but I don't think this is the right time to expose fine details of the design. I can only say that the trigger on this rifle is a complete unit like Rekord unit & not links like AF. Additionally this rifle works on PCP & CO2 as well.
Discovery might have based on this design ?????

You must have patented it. You can sue crossman?? Discovery is not certainly copied your design. it is based on very vintage 160 and built during 1950~60
Are you so old?

Could you please comment on the price of this thing if its legal for manufacturing ,for, its no more than a machine for releasing pressurised gas/air from a canister and utilizing the release in projecting a harmless little projectile , no fire involved and as long as its .22 or .177 its perfectly legal to own and make.
Small scale industry version maybe .
