DON'T change to more powerful spring. IHP's Piston shear or Trigger material and mechanism is not fit for holding powerful spring. A slap on the stock will make the gun fire!!

If you need more info on this, please wait for my second part on IHP.

No idea about gsmith spring. No one provided any review of this spring. Can someone give details of this spring? Measurement, performance after 500 shots??

G-smith spring is very hard,,,infact upto first 500 shots, its too heavy to load it in case of break barrel rifles.....
i used it for some 2000shots in my local made air rifle...the performance boosted up very much....IF YOU HAVE A STURDY RIFLE,GO FOR THE G-SMITH SPRING....

Tirths: Put in a gsmith spring and piston washer in a friend's national 25 (.22) about six weeks ago. It was done at the Kovi Shop in Bangalore. I used some good lithium grease that I found (available from any Scorpio/M&M showroom).
My friend has now put about 3-400 shots through it. It's definitely harder to cock, but not to the point of distress. The power has increased - I'd guess around 20 percent. I'm sorry I forgot to measure the spring. It appeared to be about the same length and possibly of thinner gauge. The piston seal is of much better quality than the original. Overall, a good buy.
