Interesting tit-bit about the ball bearing steel. I wonder what it could be. Yaj, Mark..you chaps have any idea what steel may have been used?

What kit/tool are you using to keep your knives sharp? I have been letching at the Edge Pros for some time but have yet to take the plunge.

My brother bought one also, spoke to him today he said it was BG42 steel. Mine is actually VG10 so it is not ball bearing steel. the one he has is BG42.
