Airgun should have nice engineering /manufacturing process not only having imported parts....or else it leads to another ihp kind which have diana cnc rifled barrel and desi powerplant and trigger

cheers

hi sankar,
since you must have already had or may have used the ihp it gets easier to comment.,although before you use comparisons with old amby and all with an airrifle which is yet to be released sounds a lil out of the way.

Dear Friends...I spoke to Kulkarni of Gunmark a few days ago about this gun which I had ordered months back...he re confirmed that the spring used in the new gun is imported and so is the barrel...velocity is 900fps for whatever grain pellet!...but the question mark is WHERE IS THE GUN???...a lot has been talked about this stuff...and like most things in our country gaining unwanted publicity..Kulkarni told me that the barrel is only a couple of inches longer than the IHP..and the receiver is about the same size...what do you say about the sweep volume now...Im losing interest in this gun

I'm double-minded, either to buy Gunmark350 or to wait for 5 mnths n buy a Benjamin Sheridan Super Streak or a Gamo Hunter Extreme
If all three are for the same price or thereabouts, then by all means, wait!

just cannot comment!,it would mean only speculation if i expect more than german or east european brands or even made in China!,the chineese ones are better than what is available here in India from ihp and from other unorganised sector manufacturers, but then the related rifle in this topic is just not out.
still i would atleast expect it to be better in quality than what is usually made in india at a reasonable price .

help from biking3819

Post by pkjeetesh » Mon Dec 08, 2008 2:57 pm

Dear Biking....I got myself a new gunmark350 .22cal from Gsmith Pune a few days back...initially the gun dieseled and seemed powerful...but after 300shots...it just went limp...I mean....the pellet barely managed to reach 30m...upon inspection near the backstop I observed that the shape of the pellet was almost the same as it had left the barrel...I separated the action from the stock to have a check whether the spring has broken...it seemed okay...earlier Kulkarni at Gsmith claimed that the gun shoots at 900fps...with a flat shooting range of 60m....I have compared the receiver and barrel lengths/size of this gun with that of IHP.22....it turned out to be the same...what do you think is the problem...any similar experiences with your gun....Kulkarni told me that he was using a Diana spring in this gun....the gun though has Diana make front, rear sights and scope rail...

jeetesh when did you buy this gun?did you complain to gsmith about your rifle?what was their reply?
do you remeber dates?i wanted to follow up with kulkarni for you and possibly any pictures of your gun.also would be nice if you can specify the serial number, this is very important.please specify the shops from where you bought or did you get it from gsmith directly?he has stopped selling this rifle as far as i know for the last nearly one year but it seems you had thought about getting this gun according to your post here recently
http://indiansforguns.com/viewtopic.php?t=5015 ,is this the new gunmak rifle i am unaware of?
the gun i had bought a year back by the way does not have diana sights or scope rail with it,are you sure its a gunmark 350 or is it the new model!
my gun has no problem at all,in case you want to check it is in pune and still shoots 50 mts with flattened g smith pellets consistently.its not like the national35 i have both.
if you cooperate i would try you get a replacement since this gun is a lovely hard hitter and accurate.
please reply at the earliest.you can also check a detailed write up about my gunmark in -
http://indiansforguns.com/viewtopic.php?t=3120

ronish i am unable to comment your post since the rifle you claim to have used is not yours ,sorry to say but i am happy with the performace of mine.

Dear Biking....It is definitely the Gunmark350...I got this gun from Gsmith on the 3rd of November, this year after placing the order on them sometime in August...I did complain to Kulkarni yesterday...he requested me to send it back to him...he was equally surprised....in all his dealings with me he had been very fair..I even got a fantastic RWS54 from him...further I regularly buy pellets from him...Im in office right now...therefore will send you the serial number of the rifle tonight...the trigger is another major disappointment...it is hard and single stage .......id would very much like to try your gun whenever im in Pune...should have done this long back...nevertheless, let the gun reach him...you could then help me with the replacement....thanks for replying Biking

Hey Thirths...I have only these guns

1. RWSM54 .22 - currently without scope and mounts, very powerful though
2. CFX .177 - with 4 x 32 Gamo scope, good one
3. GNW .22 (Indian) - real useless
4. IHP35 .22 - 2Nos - okay
5. IHP35 .177 - with muzzle brake and 3-9x32 Norconia scope - the best Indian stuff that I have
6. Gunmark350 .22 - with 4 x 40 Tasco scope - most disappointing

Im trying to be a member of the APSRA ....a friend of mine is trying to help me ...but it will be only in January...the TX200/SS Talon, Benjamin Sheridian or the HW80 import is on my mind after that...as for now...no more Indian guns...I'll rate IHP as the best....

So many... happy to hear that.

If you have someone in Kolkata, get Cannon LG65. You will like it I am sure!

This is not the same gun that biking has, although the gun is called Gunmark 350. I had commented on biking's gun that its similar to an IHP. So it appears these people are using OEM parts for the compression tube , possibly even the barrel and adding diana sights and scope rail to it and selling it for a whopper.

I can understand you may be troubled with this at the moment...but can you take some pictures and post them ? detailed ones would help....You can upload the pics (resized to 1024x768) on imgaeshack.us and post the links in your reply here. If you were anywhere close to me I would have done all this for you.

Thanks

Manish
